“…More recently, Dogan and co‐workers have prepared the new CTP based Schiff base ligands, 84 and 85 with objective to synthesize Cu(II) complexes 86 and 87 by reacting both with CuCl 2 (Scheme 20). [89] In both complexes, each Cu 2+ coordinates with geminally substituted nitrogen atoms of imine groups and geometry around the Cu centre exists as distorted tetragonal geometry.
