Abstract:<p>We investigated certain properties of cumulative entropy related to the lifetime of consecutive $ k $-out-of-$ n $:F systems. First, we presented a technique to compute the cumulative entropy of the lifetimes of these systems and studied their preservation properties using the established stochastic orders. Furthermore, we derived valuable bounds applicable in cases where the distribution function of component lifetimes is complex or when systems consist of numerous components. To facilitate practical… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
