Current auxiliary hot-stamping of advanced high-strength steel and experimental evaluation

Abstract: This paper investigated the influence of electric pulses on the microstructure evolution and mechanical property of hot-stamping process of DP1180. The thickness distribution and absorbed energy of the forming parts were also calculated. The results showed that dynamic recrystallisation occurs in the middle zone in the current auxiliary tension. Moreover, the current would bypass the microcrack. The current auxiliary hot-stamping can be carried out with a current density of 9.7-10.4 A mm −2 , thickness distrib… Show more

“…Experimental liquidus temperature, cooling rate, strain rate parameters influence significantly on high temperature mechanical properties, simulation of continuous casting slab solidification process, the sample is heated to a temperature above the liquidus and then cooling to ensure t sample austenitizing; cooling rate, the corresponding relationship between continuous casting cooling intensity directly affect the grain size of steel bar separation material size, affect the steel high temperature mechanical properties result; the steel rod section shrinkage (RA) is not particularly affected obvious under strain rate <10-2 conditions, but the speed will increase the strain on the tensile strength of steel curve shift, and this effect strengthened with increasing temperature, at higher temperatures is particularly prominent [4] 50Mn2V thermoplastic slab continuous casting and the temperature curve are shown in Fig. 3.…”
