CURRENT STATUS OF AMPHIBIAN CULTURE WITH EMPHASIS ON NUTRITION, DISEASES AND REPRODUCTION OF THE BULLFROG, Rand catesbeiana

Abstract: Culture techniques for some amphibians have progressed sufficiently to allow production of animals to be sold for teaching and research. The current state of the art is reviewed. Areas where additional research is needed include nutrition and feeding, immunology, reproductive control of females, and selective breeding.
