Current Status of Malnutrition in India and Government Initiatives to Improve Nutrition and Health

Abstract: A person's intake of calories and nutrients might be deficient, excessive, or unbalanced in the case of malnutrition. The correct development and growth of a child, as well as their future socioeconomic status, depend greatly on the nutrition of the mother, the baby, and the child. In India, there are disturbingly high rates of malnutrition among children, pregnant and lactating mothers, and teenage females.
