Abstract:Background: Enterococcus an important uropathogen has appeared to be of great therapeutic challenge globally due to its intrinsic and acquired resistance to multiple antibiotics. High level aminoglycoside and vancomycin resistant Enterococcus has narrowed the treatment options.
