Abstract: Cushing’s syndrome (CS) is characterised by signs and symptoms resulting from excessive and prolonged exposure to exogenous glucocorticoids or endogenous hypercortisolism. In childhood, exogenous CS represents the main cause of CS due to the widespread therapeutic use of glucocorticoids, while endogenous CS is very rare and accounts for about 10% of CS cases.
