Cutaneous inflammatory lobular capillary haemangioma in a guinea pig (Cavia porcellus)

Abstract: A 3‐year‐old entire male guinea pig (Cavia porcellus) was presented with a mass on the neck, which was excised surgically. Histological examination and immunohistochemistry confirmed the mass to be a tumour of endothelial origin consistent with an inflammatory lobular capillary haemangioma, despite some microscopic features triggering an initial suspicion of histological malignancy.
