Abstract: Post Inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) is a pigmentary phenomenon which commonly follows disease or injury. Examples include thermal or caustic burns, infections, or inflammatory disorders affecting the skin such as acne, atopic dermatitis, or rash.
