“…Another interesting dominant topic we identified was about cybercrime in fast-growing non-agricultural districts. This may indicate that an increasing use of digital financial services but among a newly prosperous population that is yet to become very familiar with these services, can leave the people vulnerable to financial fraud [22]. Such unusual topics that emerge as dominant in a subclass can provide hints about new variables or relationships that should be tracked to understand socio-economic development.…”

“…For instance, laws and rules related to cybersecurity can be easily written on the books in a short period of time. Nonetheless, the development of legal infrastructures such as building a well-functioning cybersecurityrelated court system and employing judges and law enforcement professionals well versed in cybersecurity takes a relatively longer time (Kshetri 2016a). Mohammad Khairuddin Abdullah, Malaysia's HeiTech Padu Berhad's director noted: "As long as they [cyber-criminals] are within the country, the criminals can be brought to court, but you'll be lucky if you can find the judge, who can write the warrant and understands the issue.…”

“…Authors found that the current cyber security systems are less effective due to their non-suitability for all frauds. Cyber security systems must cater to internal/external frauds (Kshetri, 2016), their response mechanism (Behr et al, 2010;Park and Kim, 2020), high costs, time and resources allocated in such systems (Shaw, 2006;Zelenakova et al, 2013).…”
