Cyclic Datatypes modulo Bisimulation based on Second-Order Algebraic Theories

Abstract: Cyclic data structures, such as cyclic lists, in functional programming are tricky to handle because of their cyclicity. This paper presents an investigation of categorical, algebraic, and computational foundations of cyclic datatypes.
