Abstract:Precision‐engineered light‐triggered hydrogels are important for a diversity of applications. However, fields such as biomaterials require wavelength outside the harsh UV regime to prevent photodamage, typically requiring chromophores with extended p‐conjugation that suffer from poor water solubility.
