Abstract:A number of new arylethylcyclohexenecarboxylic acids (IX) are synthesized and evaluated for their inhibition of human 5α reductase isoenzymes. All the carboxylic acids obtained appear to be good inhibitors of the prostatic isoenzyme 2 with compound (IXa) being the most potent one. -(BASTON, E.; SALEM, O. I. A.; HARTMANN*, R. W.; Arch.
