We studied plane symmetric cosmological model in the presence of quark and strange quark matter with the help of f(R,T) theory. To decipher solutions of Plane symmetric space-time, we used power law relation between scale factor and deceleration parameter. We considered the special law of variation of Hubble's parameter proposed by Berman (Nuovo Cimento B 74, 182, 1983) which yields constant deceleration parameter. We also discussed the physical behavior of the solutions by using some physical parameters.

In this paper we have investigated two fluid axially symmetric cosmological models in $f(R, T)$ theory of gravitation. To get the deterministic model, we have assumed a supplementary condition $H_3=k H_1$, where $H_1$ and $H_3$ are Hubble parameters and $k$ is constant. Two-fluid model in $f(R, T)$ theory of gravitation, one fluid represents the matter content of the universe and another fluid is chosen to model the cosmic microwave background radiation. Some geometric aspects of the model are also discussed.

We consider Kasner-type static, cylindrically symmetric interior string solutions in the f (R, L m ) theory of modified gravity. The physical properties of the string are described by an anisotropic energy-momentum tensor satisfying the condition T t t = T z z ; that is, the energy density of the string along the z-axis is equal to minus the string tension. As a first step in our study we obtain the gravitational field equations in the f (R, L m ) theory for a general static, cylindrically symmetric metric, and then for a Kasner-type metric, in which the metric tensor components have a power law dependence on the radial coordinate r . String solutions in two particular modified gravity models are investigated in detail. The first is the so-called "exponential" modified gravity, in which the gravitational action is proportional to the exponential of the sum of the Ricci scalar and matter Lagrangian, and the second is the "self-consistent model", obtained by explicitly determining the gravitational action from the field equations under the assumption of a power law dependent matter Lagrangian. In each case, the thermodynamic parameters of the string, as well as the precise form of the matter Lagrangian, are explicitly obtained.

Abstract: Cylindrically symmetric cosmological models are obtained in Rosen's (1973) bimetric theory, when the source of gravitation is electromagnetic field coupled with one dimensional cosmic string. Some physical and kinematical properties of the model are discussed.
