Maity et al (2019), evaluated the toxic potential of 100 nm PS micro beads on Allium cepa showing reactive oxygen species‐induced morphotoxic, cytotoxic and genotoxic effects, and effects on the cell cycle regulator cdc2 gene expression. But they did not show any deposition of PS beads inside root tissue.…”
