: Even after the introduction of extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation (ECPR), clinical prognosis following cardiac arrest (CA) remains poor. Post-cardiac arrest syndrome (PCAS) may contribute to cardiovascular instability and death after ECPR.
