Cytomegalovirus Colitis in Immunocompetent and Immunocompromised Children

Abstract: Background: Data about cytomegalovirus (CMV) colitis in children are scarce. We aimed to describe the characteristics of childhood CMV colitis in terms of risk factors, clinical symptoms, diagnosis, therapeutic approaches, and outcomes.
