Cytomorphologic analysis of dyshormonogenetic goiter

Abstract: Dyshormonogenetic goiter is a rare cause for congenital hypothyroidism because of the lack of enzymes needed for the synthesis of thyroid hormones. They are usually treated with hormonal treatment. Cytomorphological features can lead to misdiagnosis of malignancy.
