Abstract:Bacopamonnieri (BM) which is commonly known as "Brahmi," belongs to the family Scrophulariaceae, (BM) is an herbaceous plant traditionally used from time immemorial in Ayurvedic and folklore medicines, found throughout the Indian subcontinent in wet, damp and marshy areas.
