Abstract: Polyvinyl butyral (PVB) is a polymer resin byproduct of the automotive industry. Separation and recycling of PVB from automotive windshield production lines solve waste management issues and might be used in biomedicine implants, particularly when blended with high-density polyethylene (HDPE).
