“…lations 65 predict that 67% of the Cr 50 ground-state wave function is the configuration {(^/7/2 4 ) 0 (y/7/2~~2) 0 } 0 , while Cr 50 (d,^)Cr 51 reaction studies 45,66 show that the 0.776-MeV level has a large 2^3 /2 single-particle component. The Q values of these two transitions are within 500 keV of each other, so that their absolute cross sections are about equal: J<r/dO(35 0 ) = 110±10 jub/sr for Cr 53 (^/)Cr 51 f~ 0.776 MeV, Q= -12.282 MeV while da/dto(3S°) = 9Q±10 /zb/sr for Cr 52 (^,/)Cr 50 g.s., <2=-12.811 MeV.…”
