“…The divinyl quinoxalinone bridge, in IIaz , IIav , IIaw , turns out to be the most effective among those discussed from the point of view of achieving the smallest energy gap; this bridge is more effective than quinoxaline one in Iaz , Iav , Iaw , (see pairs differing only by these bridges: Iav/IIav , Iaz/IIaz , Iaw/IIaw ) (Table S3). The smallest, ΔE el , 0.95 eV is obtained for IIaz [43] and IIaw [45] providing enhanced values of first hyperpolarizability, [43] thus demonstrating the specific properties of divinyl quinoxalinone bridge.
