Daily solar radiation forecasting using historical data and examining three methods

Abstract: I IntroductionFilling up electronic demands using renewable energy is getting more interesting every day, not just only it is free to get, above of that because it is pollution free. Renewable energy sources as photovoltaic (PV), wind, bio-diesel generator are now utilized in integrated generation systems at sites that have a large potential of either solar, wind or both. At present, solar photovoltaic and wind systems have been promoted around the globe on a comparatively larger scale [1-6]. As it mentioned, … Show more

“…The authors have discussed the merits and demerits of different types of prediction methodologies. Parsi [13] has applied three different methods for solar radiation forecasting such as exponential smoothing, seasonal forecasting and ANN. The results show that the exponential smoothing is said to have less mean error when compared to other methods.…”

“…Distribution of power flows in the microgrid. To achieve the above distribution of power flows as depicted inFigure 1, system harnessing hybrid generations and operated by DSM programs must be included three main blocks as represented inFigure 2[9],[12][13][14][15][16].…”
