“…Haemorrhage is the leading cause of death during the first 48 h after severe trauma and remains the most common preventable cause of death . Improvement in the outcome involves measures to facilitate early diagnosis, rapid haemorrhage control with use of tourniquet and haemostatic dressing, but also short scene time and damage control (DC) strategies .
