Abstract:In this paper results of the damage assessment of composite panel using the guided wave propagation method are presented. Two approaches of elastic wave generation are investigated: (i) contact, piezoceramic transducer (PZT)-based and (ii) non-contact, air-coupled transducer (ACT)-based.
