“…The presence of a filling material adds resistance that requires increased mechanical stress when compared to primary root canal treatment. One of the consequences shown in ex vivo studies is increased formation of dentinal defects in the canal walls for both NiTi rotary and hand instrument techniques (Shemesh et al 2011;Topcuoglu et al 2014).
