Danaparoid Sodium: A Review of Its Use in Hepatic Thrombotic Disorders

Abstract: Danaparoid sodium is an antithrombotic isolated from porcine mucosa. Its main constituent is a mixture of heparan sulphates that inhibits thrombin generation and also possesses anti-inflammatory and immune-modulatory activity.
