Abstract:In this paper, we study adaptive modulation for cognitive underlay networks taking into account the interference link from the secondary transmitter to the primary receiver. We have proposed the mathematical analysis framework to derive the system performance in terms of outage probability, spectral efficiency and average bit error rate over Rayleigh fading channels.
