Darstellung, IR‐ und 19F‐KMR‐Spektren von Pentafluorphenylmercapto‐Metallkomplexen

Abstract: Durch Umsetzung von Alkalipentafluorthiophenolat mit den entsprechenden Metallsalzen werden die Pentafluorphenylmercaptometallate [Me(SC6F5)4]2‐ (Me = CoII, PdII, PtII, ZnII, CdII, HgII) und [Me(SC6F5)2]− (Me = CuI, AgI, AuI) in Form ihrer Tetraäthylammonium‐oder Kaliumsalze erhalten. Show more

“…An investigation into the coordination geometry of gold(I) thiolate complexes led to the synthesis of several simple anionic derivatives of the general formula [Au(SR)2]-, where R = Me, tBu or Ph (Bowmaker & Dobson, 1981). Only one such anion had previously been isolated, where R was the strongly electron-withdrawing group, C6F 5 (Beck, Stettner, Todros & Schwarzhaus, 1967). These findings contrast with the similar, Au I thiomalate system, where a 13C NMR study (Isab & Sadler, 1976) (Isab & Sadler, 1976).…”

“…Fluorine spectra was referenced to a 19 F resonance of the external HSC 6 F 5 reference (C 6 F 5 SH, d = 59.7 ppm). [28] IR measurements (KBr pellet) were carried out using a Bruker Alpha-P Fourier transform spectrometer.…”

“…Chemical shifts are given relative to TMS and were referenced to the solvent resonances as internal standards. The 19 F NMR spectrum was referenced to a 19 F resonance of the external HSC 6 F 5 reference (C 6 F 5 SH δ = 59.7 ppm) 12. Single crystals were mounted on a Goniometer KM4/Xcalibur equipped with Sapphire2 (large Be window) detector (Mo‐ K α radiation source, λ = 0.71073 Å).…”
