Data acquisition and simulation of natural phenomena

Abstract: Virtual natural phenomena obtained through mathematical-physical modeling and simulation as well as graphics emulation can meet the user's requirements for sensory experiences to a certain extent but they can hardly have the same accurate physical consistency as real natural phenomena. The technology for data acquisition and natural phenomena simulation can enable us to obtain multi-dimensional and multi-modal data directly from real natural phenomena and, based on these real data, to establish digital models … Show more

“…The data used for prediction in our work was obtained from mobile service providers, so how to make full use of these data to determine a user's motivation to use a new service is the key issue in our work. Our concept was inspired by dynamic game theory [32][33][34]. Taylor and Jonker [35] studied the evolution of the game in dynamic case and described the state of the system by differential equations.…”

“…Engineering and management sciences jointly seek to model the real world to describe, understand and manage phenomena, with the difference that engineering 2 sciences model natural world phenomena and management sciences model human systems [15,16]. Since the knowledge of modelling in the field of natural phenomena and related laws has advanced a lot, many approximate models have been made for such phenomena, and the effectiveness of these models is evident and provable due to the continuous progress in engineering and physics sciences [17,18]. However, the natural human world is less presented in the form of a model due to the complexities of human behaviour.…”

“…Physicsbased simulation is closer to the real development according to the physics equations; however, it is difficult to capture the flames high-frequency details due to the numerical dissipation. Unlike traditional flame simulations, image-based 3D reconstruction [2] captures multi-view images directly from real flame, and based on these data generates 3D flame models. This method is not only useful for reconstructing visually realistic 3D flame, but it also deepens our understanding of flame details.…”
