Daubentoniidae (Aye‐Aye)

Abstract: Aye‐ayes are among the most specialized primates. They are represented by one extant 2.6‐kilogram species, Daubentonia madagascariensis , making them the largest extant nocturnal primates. Another extinct species, D. robusta , was much more robust and larger at 14 kilograms.
