Abstract:Polyazomethinethiosemicarbazone (PATS) metal complexes of Ni(II), Co(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II) metal ions were prepared by reacting the polymer ligand (PATS) with the appropriate metal salt in refluxing DMSO. Elemental analyzes as well as FTIR and electronic spectral data are presented to confirm the formulation of the isolated materials.
