De Novo Assembly of a Chromosome-Scale Reference Genome for the Northern FlickerColaptes auratus

Abstract: The northern flicker, Colaptes auratus, is a widely distributed North American woodpecker and a long-standing focal species for the study of ecology, behavior, phenotypic differentiation, and hybridization.
