Dealing with diabetes and pregnancy following bariatric surgery: a double-edged sword?

Abstract: Bariatric surgery offers substantial and sustained weight loss for most patients, with diabetes improvement or remission and also reduction in weight-related comorbidities in patients with a BMI of 35 kg/m² or more.
