“…Particularly the use of different types of heteropolymolybdate, with Keggin, Dawson or Anderson based structures, have been proposed as starting materials for the oxidic precursors preparation [2][3][4][5]. Recently Cabello [6] has proposed the use of ammonium salt of [Co 2 Mo 10 O 38 H 4 6À ] heteropolyanion (HPA), a dimer structure deriving from the well-known Anderson one. It allows these authors to prepare CoMo-based catalysts that present a higher promoting effect of cobalt in thiophene HDS than the conventional one based on the use of AHM and cobalt nitrate.…”

“…LaPMo 11 VO 40 and CsPMo 11 VO 40 had many more B-acid sites than KPMo 11 VO 40 . HPCs with small bulk counter-ions, such as La 3+ , whose properties were similar to the original heteropolyacids [31,32]. Moreover, the reduction peak at about 589 o C was ascribed to (PMo 11 VO 40 ) 4− (16%).…”

“…The appearance of the band at 574 cm -1 in 5CoMo 6 catalyst could be connected to the Mo-O-Mo bridge stretching and vibrations of the Co-O 6 bonds [12]. Gadsen reports the bands at about 578 and 670 cm -1 for Co 3 O 4 oxide [25].…”

“…In recent years, the heteropolycompounds (HPCs) formed by Mo (or/and W) atoms and central atoms named heteroatoms became of great importance in the catalytic investigation for many scientists dealing with heterogeneous catalysis [5,6] due to high activity of the heteropolyoxometalates in various industrial processes. The use of the HPCs (either directly in impregnation solution or after their synthesis on the alumina surface) as active phase precursors of the supported hydrodesulfurization catalysts was already mentioned in the literature [7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14]. A promising way, how to produce more efficient catalysts, is to identify active phases and then, to synthesize catalysts with maximum of their concentration.…”
