Abstract:Non-covalent hybrid materials based on graphene and A 3 -type copper corrole complexes were computationally investigated. The corroles complexes contain strong electron-withdrawing fluorinated substituents at the meso positions. Our results show that the non-innocent character of corrole moiety modulates the structural, electronic, and magnetic properties once the hybrid systems are held. The graphene-corrole hybrids displayed outstanding stability via the interplay of dispersion and electrostatic driving forc… Show more
The field of corrole systems particularly those with functional groups at their peripheral positions has experienced a surge of interest in recent years, driven by their exceptional optical and electronic...
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
