In a production process, various production factors can affect the resulting performance. Employees, as a factor of production, play an important role in the production process, so it is necessary to get a high-quality workforce. In this regard, the recruitment process is very important, so it needs to be carried out strictly and thoroughly. The problem that is often encountered in the recruitment process is that applicant files are still handled manually, which allows errors to occur in the recruitment process. This error will impact the resulting performance because the industry has employees who do not fit the criteria. Therefore, a Decision Support System is needed in the recruitment process so that decision-making can be done quickly and accurately, reducing errors. This research aimed to find a decision support system application in employee recruitment. The recruitment process can be faster, more precise, and optimal because we get prospective employees who fit the required criteria. The method used to achieve the research objectives was the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to develop weights or priorities. The results obtained in this study were an application that shows the ranking of accepted prospective employees based on assessments in the recruitment process. In addition, the test results showed that 95% of the application could meet the Usability and Efficiency characteristics, and 70% meet the overall characteristics.

One alternative in making effective decisions is the Decision Support System (DSS). The selection of the best employees still has weaknesses in PT. Petromitra Pacific Internusa so that it will trigger conflicts between employees. In this study, the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method was used to process employee data in all divisions to obtain accurate results. The SAW method is one of the methods that can assist in the decision-making process for selecting the best 100 employees by providing criteria and preference weights that can be determined according to applicable regulations such as 35% discipline criteria, 15% cooperation, 45% leadership, and honesty. 10%. This study aims to provide more accurate results and make it easier for the Personnel or HRD department to choose the best employees at PT. Petromitra Pacific Internusa. The results of this study are in the form of determining the selection of the best employees who are identified based on the results of the highest score. So that they will automatically become the best employees and will receive bonuses, as well as get a promotion.

In educational institutions such as universities, scholarships and apprenticeship programs are mandatory, likewise at Trisakti University. Students who receive scholarships must meet predetermined criteria. The problem that often occurs is the provision of scholarships and inappropriate apprenticeship opportunities. The application of the decision support system used is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method with Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) is expected to help the university in determining outstanding students who are entitled to receive scholarships and internship recommendations by assessing each student, looking for a weighted addition of the rating performance on each alternative on all attributes. This is useful for making it easier for decision makers related to the problem of selecting outstanding students, so that students who are most worthy of an award will be found in the form of scholarships or recommendations for internships using the criteria for Student Activity Portfolio Aspects, Mastery of English, Creative Ideas Scientific Writing, and National Insights. Based on the results of calculations using the Simple Additive Weighting method by taking into account the existing criteria, students who get the highest score will be selected for scholarships and internship recommendations.
