Decitabine improves patient outcomes in myelodysplastic syndromes

Abstract: BACKGROUNDAberrant DNA methylation, which results in leukemogenesis, is frequent in patients with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and is a potential target for pharmacologic therapy.
