Decoding promoter-enhancer interactions in human cardiac myocytes

Abstract: The heart is a heterocellular organ consisting of several cell types including cardiomyocytes. Cell-type specific gene expression and response to stimuli is modulated by active distal regulatory elements termed enhancers.
