H‐acid, a prevalent pollutant in dyeing wastewater, is primarily utilized in the pharmaceutical and textile industries. However, H‐acid treatment remains a challenge because of its high concentration, degradation resistance, and poor biodegradability. This review examines the principles, characteristics, advantages, and disadvantages of the most recently developed advanced practical H‐acid treatment technologies.
