Decomposition of mechanical vibration signals - the Hilbert- Huang Transform in the time domain and the Fourier Transform in the frequency domain

Abstract: The investigation results concerning comparisons of effects of the application of the Hilbert-Huang Transform (HHT), Fourier Transform (FT) and Short Time Fourier Transform (STFT) for the vibration signals decomposition, are presented in this paper.
