Abstract:BACKGROUND: Decreased hydraulic forces during diastole contribute to reduced left ventricular (LV) filling and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction.
OBJECTIVES: To determine the association between diastolic hydraulic forces, estimated by atrioventricular area difference (AVAD), and both diastolic function and survival.
