“…Multi-phase compressional and extensional structures have been widely developed in TFTZ due to the tectonic transformation of the SCB since the Mesozoic (Yu et al, 2011(Yu et al, , 2020, resulting in the special spatial superimposition between sedimentary strata from the Late Paleozoic to Early Mesozoic and metamorphic rock series, as well as the widespread Late Mesozoic extensional sedimentary basins and magmatism. The strata in TFTZ are characterized by the Late Paleozoic to Triassic strata exposed in narrow belts among widely distributed metamorphic rock series (Figure 3; Zhong, 1992) and constitute a particular structural landscape in north-east Jiangxi Province (Huo et al, 2018;Yang et al, 2015).
