“…To define such regions, LGE images were also acquired after gadolinium injection. Infarct tissue definition involved an automatic delineation of the LV (endocardium and epicardium) from the LGE image using our newly developed deep learning U‐Net model followed by a semi‐automatic segmentation of the scar using the Otsu model .
