“…Moreover, it has been suggested that the use of collagen drainage devices positioned under the scleral flap would improve aqueous humor filtration. [22][23][24] As only a few studies have directly compared NPS and TE, there is no strong evidence as to which surgical technique leads to the best results in terms of hypotensive effects and safety. The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis of aggregate data is to fill this gap.…”

“…After filtration surgery; proliferation of Tenon capsule fibroblasts cause fibrosis of the bleb and decrease efficacy of the surgery. To increase efficacy of the surgery new techniques are developed (10,15,16). MMC application is one of these techniques that we investigated in our study.…”

“…Twenty-five patients (25 eyes) with medically uncontrolled open-angle glaucoma underwent deep sclerectomy with the T-Flux NV®. For all postoperative visits, statistical analysis of success rates [74][75][76][77][78][79][80][81][82][83][84] revealed that deep sclerectomy with T-Flux NV® implantation was comparable to viscocanalostomy in a retrospective group of patients matched for age, sex, diagnosis, preoperative IOP, number of preoperative antiglaucoma medications and previous ocular surgery [5]. A noncomparative prospective pilot study, using the T-Flux NV® as intrascleral implant in a limited number of patients, showed no severe complications such as long-standing hypotony or endophthalmitis [24].…”
