Abstract:This work presents new anisotropic growth‐directing copolymers suitable for the seed‐mediated growth of gold nanorods (GNRs). Copolymers with different architectures are studied. They all contain dimethylaminomethyl methacrylate (DMAEMA) functionalized with 1‐bromohexadecane (BHD) as the vital component.
