This fact, together with problems in rearing Amblyseius limonicus sensu lato with a method successfully used for Amblyseius limonicus sensu stricto as well as differences in the ability to survive and reproduce on pollen led to the separation of these species after detailed morphological examination and cross breeding experiments (Braun et al, 1993;Moraes et al, 1994). Amblyseius limonicus sensu lato was described as Amblyseius manihoti by Moraes et al 1994 (now Amblydromalus manihoti according to Chant and McMurtry, 2005).…”
