Degradation of Reactive Black 5 Dye (RB5) using Iron Electrode (Fe.S) Derived from Iron Sludge Steel Waste via Electrochemical Method

Abstract: A study has been performed on the degradation of Reactive Black 5 (RB5) as pollutant using iron electrode (Fe.S) derived from iron sludge steel waste via electrochemical method. The Fe.S and titanium graphite electrodes were applied as anode and cathode respectively during the studied. The studied operating parameters were the effect of current density, initial pH, initial concentration, and the reusability of the Fe.S electrode.
