Delay‐dependent criteria for general decay synchronization of discontinuous fuzzy neutral‐type neural networks with time‐varying delays

Abstract: This paper aims to investigate the general decay synchronization analysis of discontinuous fuzzy neutral-type neural networks. Under the framework of Filippov solutions, based on functional differential inclusions theory, inequality technique and by constructing a modified delay-dependent Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, some new delay-dependent criteria are provided to guarantee the general decay synchronization via the effective nonlinear feedback controller. The neural network model considered is more genera… Show more

“…However, the former can derive less conservativeness and take more advantages in the practical applications. For more details, see [9]. But there are few delay-dependent criteria derived for the delayed INNs and few delay-dependent criteria ensuring the FTS of time-varying delayed INNs have been derived.…”

“…The manifestation of time delays in neurons may cause oscillation, instability, or would significantly debilitate the performance of the NNs. Thus, the research on delayed NNs (DNNs) is always a hot topic 4,5 …”

“…Thus, the research on delayed NNs (DNNs) is always a hot topic. 4,5 With the rapid development of digital technologies, networked control systems (NCSs) have also received extensive attention. In order to reduce the waste of computing resources, it is very important to choose the appropriate sampling strategy in the process of signal digitization.…”

“…However, there are few related results on FTS of the INNs so far; see Reference 15. Moreover, discontinuities often arise in great many areas of neuroscience, biology and engineering; see, to name a few, References 16‐20. As for the INNs, there is rare investigation on the INNs with discontinuous activations, see Reference 21, and there is no FTS analysis for the INNs with discontinuous activations.…”

“…As we know, the delay‐dependent criteria can derive less conservativeness. Many delay‐dependent criteria have been derived for the time delayed systems and networks; see References 20,24, and 25. Thus, providing the new delay‐dependent criteria to ensure the periodicity of DINNs is our second motivation.…”
