Abstract:Morbidly adherent placenta (MAP) can be divided into placenta accrete, placenta increta and placenta percreta. It is associated with high parity, multifetal gestation, advanced maternal age, assisted reproductive technologies, placenta previa, and more importantly a history of caesarean section or uterine surgery.
